DURHAM, N.C. – Teamworks, the leading athlete engagement platform for collegiate and professional organizations, is pleased to announce a partnership with Santa Clara University Athletics. The Broncos will leverage Teamworks to communicate efficiently and simplify the flow of information to student-athletes from athletics staff. In addition to Teamworks' core offerings, Santa Clara will use Teamworks Academics to improve the academic success of all student-athletes.
"Teamworks streamlines communication throughout our department, but especially between our coaches and student-athletes," Ryan Holleman, associate athletic director for sports medicine said. "Our student-athletes check one central app regarding their class and training schedules and are quickly notified as information is updated so everyone is on the same page."
With Teamworks Academics, the Broncos will simplify the logistics around academic support to improve outcomes for their 20 sports. Academic advisors gain better insights into student-athlete calendars, minimizing no-shows and cancellations while also more effectively matching tutors and student-athletes based on subject, schedule and need.
"We were originally communicating through multiple platforms, but Teamworks gives us a unified communication process to make the lives of our student-athletes easier," Jessica Everhart, associate athletic director for academics and student Services said. "In addition to having their athletic commitments streamlined, Teamworks Academics simplifies our student-athletes' lives by centralizing classroom expectations through the app."
Santa Clara joins more than 2,000 NCAA Division I departments and teams that partner with Teamworks. The Broncos will use Teamworks to minimize distractions and maximize resources so student-athletes are set up for success in both the classroom and on the field.
"We are thrilled to welcome Santa Clara to our Teamworks family," Zach Maurides, CEO and founder of Teamworks said. "It is a pleasure to provide Santa Clara with the tools needed to centralize department operations and streamline communication and academic success for all Bronco athletes."
