After the last two weeks off, the Santa Clara men's golf team will return to action at the 55th Western Intercollegiate, held April 2-3 in Santa Cruz. The event will take place at the at Pasatiempo Golf Club, a par-70 course totaling 6,445 yards. Two rounds will be completed on Monday followed by the final round on Tuesday. Each morning will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Along with the Broncos and host San Jose State, California, Fresno State, Hawaii, Kansas, Long Beach State, Nevada, Ohio State, Oregon, Oregon State, Pacific, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Stanford, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara and Washington are scheduled to attend. Tournament records were set in both the team and individual competitions as Fresno State took team honors with an 838, and Pepperdine's Jason Allred won medalist honors with a 66-63-70--199.
