SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara's men's tennis opened its Fall Classic this morning with eight singles and three doubles matches against Portland.
The Pilots took all three doubles matches, while the Broncos earned a 5-3 edge in singles competition. Ryan Livesay, Michael Duong, Federico Mattioli, Adam Lewis and Jack Fleming won matches for Santa Clara.
The SCU Classic continues at the Santa Clara Tennis Center through the weekend. Portland will take on Cal Poly at 10 a.m., followed by Pacific and Santa Clara at 2 p.m.
