This Week
Santa Clara returns to the Bay Area and will visit San Jose State on Friday, in the programs' Rivalry Series game. The Spartans are 2-1 on the season, and are led by Lamisha Augustine and Amber Jackson, who combine to average 22 points and 13 rebounds per game. The Broncos return home to host UC Davis on Sunday at 4 p.m. The Aggies are 1-2 on the year and are led by Ellen Porshneva, who averages almost 20 points per contest.

Three-Point Game
Santa Clara's offense has focused on long ball during the preseason, as the Broncos are averaging 10. 8 three-point field goals made per outing, a .368 clip over the first four contests. Ashley Graham has made 16 treys at a .516 percentage, and Quinn Thomas follows with 14, .378. The Broncos have historically led the West Coast Conference in this category, and last season broke the league season record for threes made during conference play. Last week, Santa Clara made 13 three-pointers at Hawaii, tying a program record for a game and setting a Rainbow Wahine Classic new mark.

In the Rankings
The Bronco program is known to play a tough schedule on a regular basis, and this year's is no exception. The Broncos have already faced two top-25 teams in its first four outings, taking on 13th-ranked Michigan State and No. 3 Georgia at the Rainbow Wahine Classic. Santa Clara will host No. 18 Minnesota on Dec. 11. Additionally, non-conference opponent UW-Green Bay received votes in the Associated Press' opening poll.

Live on the Internet
Santa Clara's entire schedule returns to the Internet, as a live audio broadcast was available for a fourth season on www.SantaClaraBroncos.com. Additionally, Leavey Center contests can be followed online with a live statistical tracker, also located on SCU's official athletic website. By logging on, fans can receive real-time updated statistics direct from the official scoring computer, allowing users to listen to the audio broadcast and keep up with the statistics simultaneously. Anthony Passarelli returns as the voice of the Broncos for a fourth season.

A Look Ahead: Broncos Host Minnesota
Santa Clara will return to action after fall quarter finals with a Dec. 11 game at the Leavey Center against Minnesota. Currently ranked 18th nationally, the Golden Gophers participated in the Final Four last season.

On TV
The Broncos are scheduled to make one television appearance this season during the WCC slate. Santa Clara will play at Saint Mary's in a Saturday, February 12 game that will tip-off at 7 p.m., with live coverage by Fox Sports Bay Area.
