Big Women's Hoops Game Saturday!

Dec. 9, 2004

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Coming off its 48-point win over UC Davis, the Santa Clara University women's basketball team hosts 16th-ranked Minnesota Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Leavey Center and a number of special ticket promotions are available.

The Golden Gophers are 7-1 on the season and return eight letterwinners and three starters from its team that went 25-9 last year and advanced to the NCAA Final Four.

This will certainly be one of the biggest games on Santa Clara's schedule and we want you to help fill the Leavey Center and cheer the Broncos to victory!

There are several ticket promotions available to take advantage of, including:

  • Coat Drive - Bring a coat to donate to someone in need and receive two adult general admission tickets to the game for the price of one.
  • Entertainment Book - Check your local Entertainment Book for a coupon that can provide two adult general admission tickets to the game for the price of one.
  • High School Day - Local high school teams may receive free admission, provided they RSVP to 554-4066 by noon Friday.
  • Holiday Hoops Special - Purchase the Holiday Hoops Special package and receive four tickets each to the men's games against UC Irvine and Chico State and get two adult general admission tickets to the Bronco women vs. Minnesota at no extra charge!
