SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara continues its season-opening homestand Monday night looking for its first win of the 2005-06 season as the Broncos take on the Central Florida Golden Knights tonight at 7 p.m. in the Leavey Center.

Central Florida (1-3) will head into the Leavey Center after a pair of losses in the Hilton Concord Thanksgiving Classic at St. Mary's. The Golden Knights fell to Butler, 69-57 Friday night before dropping the consolation game Saturday night, 91-87 to Princeton.

Santa Clara (0-3) will be seeking to halt a three-game slide of its own after being defeated 100-71 in their home opener Saturday against Kansas State. Tracey Walker led the Broncos with a career-high 15 points in the game and Kayla Huss added 13.

Michelle Cozad leads the Broncos on the season with 19.7 points and 6.0 rebounds a game, followed by Kay;a Huss' 11.0 ppg and Tracey Walker and Ashley Graham each netting 10.3 points over the first three games. Kasey Monteith is pulling down 4.7 boards a game and collectively Santa Clara is shooting 50.8% from behind the arc.

The Golden Knights are paced by junior guard Francine Houston, who has averaged 19.8 points over the first four games of the season. LaShay King is averaging 10.3 points and five assists a game while Shelby Weber paces UCF underneath with 9.0 ppg and 7.5 rebounds per game.
