Did You Know?

July 10, 2001

Did You Know... The Santa Clara University women's soccer program has the second most alumna playing in the newly-formed Women's United Soccer Association. Additionally, the Broncos are the only school with representation on each of the eight teams.

Listen to a recent halftime feature on the Santa Clara foursome that plays for the Bay Area CyberRays. The story originally aired June 20 at a CyberRays home game against the Philadelphia Charge. A fifth Bronco, the 1999 NCAA Player of the Year Mandy Clemens, was on the field that day for the Charge. The four-minute feature is the first listing under Player/Coach Interviews.

Enjoy!
