Head coach Jon Wallace, on match vs. Boise State: "We played very steady tonight. Boise State came out fired up and they really tested us. But we stepped up and we came through when it mattered. Once we got a lead we did not give it away and we won the big points."
Wallace, on three All-WCC performers, Lowe, Matich and Walters: "Brittany (Lowe), Crystal (Matich), Caroline (Walters) are all playing at a high level and that sets the tone for everyone else. When they play well, the rest of the team can just focus on their own roles."
Wallace, on Lindsy Evans: "It was great to see Lindsy perform at such a high level in all three matches to win the MVP. She had a great weekend for us and we hope that she continues that next weekend."
Wallace, on other keys to weekend success: "We got contributions from a lot of players. Lauryn Dowd's serve was a big weapon for us and Kim Courtney and Nichole Clark came in and did very well. Also, we had Brittany, Krista and Lindsy all taking a lot of good swings. This was a very good start for us."
