Head Coach Jon Wallace
On the come from behind win in game one:
"The Pepperdine game gave us the confidence we needed to grind out the win in the first game. We drew from that experience Thursday night to get through game one and two and we did a great job to win the game."

On Krista Kelley:
"She showed us today how tough she really is and what kind of competitor she is. She took a ton of swings this afternoon being tired and stiff after playing an incredible game Thursday night."

On Taylor O'Brien:
"Taylor made all the little plays to keep us going today. She kept us really steady in the back row and did a great job."

On the long rally midway through the third game:
"As a coach all you want is someone to hit the ball hard and end the rally. The crowd loves those rallies and so do the players. I think the longer it goes the more the players enjoy it and push to win the point."

On the "Dig for the Cure" event:
"I'm really happy that we had the opportunity to participate in the "Dig for the Cure" campaign. I know the team is honored to be a part of it and be able to help the cause through the sport of volleyball. I'm also really proud of my athletes. They took the task seriously and went out to the community to look for help, and the community really gave back."

On Gonzaga:
"We've already started addressing our concerns with Gonzaga and will start preparing for them on Monday. I know that the team is excited to start preparing for that game."

Senior setter Crystal Matich
On the being at the midway point of the conference season:
"The first half of the season was tough but the second half is going to be a lot harder. Teams are better and players are fatigued. Gonzaga is going to be a huge game for us on Thursday. But I believe there will be a successful momentum to the rest of the season because of the success we've had in the first half."

On being back on the road:
"It's more of a routine for us and there are a lot less distractions. It's just volleyball, volleyball and more volleyball."

On the match against Loyola Marymount:
"Coach told us before the game that they would be more of a scrappy team. They are not huge like Pepperdine but they have good ball control and will dig everything that comes there way. We just needed to keep a strong mentality and keep digging and keep fighting and we did a really good job."

On her teammates Nichole Clark and Lauryn Dowd:
"Nichole and Lauryn have had two really strong games for us this week. Although they may not be racking up the kills, they are extremely consistent with their plays and blocking and just moving around the court."

On the "Crystal Will You Marry Me" sign in the crowd:
"He has a brother who goes to Santa Clara and he said that he goes to my rival high school. The sign was filled with pictures. Of course I had to see it afterwards. I told him that he has to come back for our last two games because he was a good luck charm today."
