Head coach Jon Wallace, on match: "We are happy to be 2-0 in conference with the win today. We had a good transfer of what we worked on in practice this week to both of our games this weekend. This win will give us some confidence going forward."
Wallace, on Brittany Lowe's play: "Brittany had a great day. It seemed like she was hitting harder than she has ever hit. We worked on her hitting this week in practice a lot and she seemed to keep that going in the match today."
Wallace, on conference season: "We knew coming into the year that we had a lot to learn in preseason. Now that we have gotten through that, the team is very focused on the conference. We are going in the right direction and we just have to keep it going."
Brittany Lowe, on team's play: "We have put the non-conference behind us now and we started out well in conference this weekend. The team had a meeting earlier this week and it seemed like we all responded. It feels good right now to finish this weekend unbeaten in conference."
Lowe, on team goals: "We set some goals among the team this week and we called one of them `Pride in Five'. Basically, we want to start every game strong the first five points and finish every game strong for the final five points. I believe that helped us focus today."
