Attention all High School students: looking for some inexpensive fun in the South Bay Area over the holidays? Come to a Santa Clara basketball game at the Leavey Center and see a legend's jersey retired as well!
Santa Clara Athletics has once again launched its Bronco Basketball 2008 High School Holiday Special. All high school students can get a $5 general admission ticket to select Santa Clara men's or women's home basketball games during the holiday period from Dec. 13 - Dec. 30.
At halftime of the Belmont game (Dec. 29), as part of the two-day Cable Car Classic, Santa Clara will retire all-time leading scorer Kurt Rambis' jersey and raise it to the rafters.
No coupon is required, but students must be prepared to show a valid high school identification to qualify for the discount. Game-day walk-up ticket purchases are the only way to take advantage of this special offer. Per NCAA regulations, this offer is open to all high school students regardless of student-athlete status or basketball team membership.
