THE FLAMBOYAN, PUERTO RICO - The Santa Clara men's golf team is in eighth place after the first round of the Palmas Del Mar Intercollegiate hosted by St. John's University. The Broncos are led by senior Jonathan Keane and junior Shaun Pienkos. Both are tied for 21st.
Currently in first place is UNC Greensboro with a score of 284 (-4). The Broncos have a team score of 309 (+21). Individually, Will Bowman of UNC Greenboro is in first place at five-under par 67.
The second round will be played on Tuesday.
