Thursday Night at Buck Shaw Stadium: Broncos Face NPSL’s Ambassadors

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Your 11-time West Coast Conference Champion Santa Clara University men's soccer team wraps up its 2012 spring season on Thursday, May 31 at Buck Shaw Stadium. SCU will host the Bay Area Ambassadors of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in an exhibition match at 7 p.m.

The Broncos are unbeaten this spring at 3-0-2, knocking off San Jose State, UC Davis and Sunderland's U18 side (the academy squad for England's Premier League member Sunderland A.F.C.).

The Bay Area Ambassadors are based in nearby Hayward and compete in the NPSL, which is a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Northwest Division.

Fans are encouraged to come out and watch Thursday's exhibition. Admission is FREE.
