Meet the Future of Bronco Men’s Soccer – Aaron Sandhu

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer announced the second member of the 2021 recruiting class, Aaron Sandhu, a defender out of Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, Washington.

"I chose Santa Clara because of the coach staff as well as the combination of academics and athletics," said Sandhu.

The 6-foot Sandhu competed for United Football Academy in the USSDA U15 before playing the last two seasons for Crossfire Premier SC where he started in all 39 games.  Crossfire Premier SC has been a pipeline for the Broncos program over the years sending players such as Brandon Zimmerman (2008-11), Murphy Campbell (2008-12), Yoshi Chaffin (2014-17) and current Bronco Aran O'Brien.

"Aaron comes from an outstanding club, Crossfire FC out of Washington.  He fits the mold of past players from the club who have had major impacts in our program," said Broncos head coach Cam Rast.  "He is tough, highly competitive and truly committed to his teammates and the game.  He will bring depth to the backline and an edge to our team."
