PALO ALTO, Calif. - This afternoon the No. 57 Santa Clara men's tennis team was swept by the No. 7 Stanford Cardinal with a final score of 7-0. With the loss the Broncos fall to 14-6 on the season with the loss. SCU has two more matches this week, on the road versus Sacramento State and home versus Saint Mary's, to close out the regular season.
A bright spot for the Broncos this afternoon came at the No. 3 doubles position where freshman duo Eugene Muchynski and Tom Pham defeated Stanford's Walker Kehrer and Greg Hirshman 8-5.
Santa Clara takes the court again on Thursday, April 15 at Sacramento State. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
