Jan. 27, 2010

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - For the second year in a row, the Santa Clara men's tennis team has put together a top 25 nationally ranked recruiting class as determined by TennisRecruiting.com. This year, with the signing of Blue Chip recruit John Lamble, SCU has earned a No. 20 ranking for the incoming 2010 freshman class.

Lamble is currently ranked No. 21 nationally among the high school class of 2010 prospects. He will be joining the team in the fall complimenting 2009's top 25 ranked freshman class of Nick Buckley, Grant Fleming, Eugene Muchynski, and Tom Pham.

Head coach Derek Mills has been working hard over his past three years at the helm of Bronco tennis to usher in a new era and elevated caliber of tennis on the Mission Campus. With two nationally ranked recruiting classes in three years, Mills is paving the way for the future of Santa Clara tennis.
