AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: The only true two-way player on Santa Clara's 2009 roster ... made 16 starts in right field, mostly batting eighth in the lineup ... hard-throwing right-hander who was used 19 times out of the bullpen ... went a season-high 3 2/3 innings against Stanford (Apr. 15) in which he fanned a season-high six ... struck out 35 in 34 innings, picked up one save, issued just 13 walks and finished the year 0-3 with a 7.15 ERA ... his ERA was inflated by allowing 17 earned runs in three outings which totaled 2 1/3 innings ... after giving up nine earned runs in his first two collegiate games, Graham settled in to post four scoreless relief appearances from Feb. 28-Mar. 29 ... was not used in the outfield until mid-March, scoring two runs and walking twice against UC Davis (Mar. 11) ... also tossed two innings in that game against UC Davis (Mar. 11), striking out four ... made his second start in right field against Cornell (Mar. 14), hitting his first collegiate double ... went on to start 11-of-13 games in right field from Mar. 11-Apr. 1 ... hit his first college homerun against Stanford (May 6) and would earn his first career save in two innings of relief, striking out three.

HIGH SCHOOL: Livermore High School's team MVP as a senior in 2008 ... led the Cowboys to a 24-3 record and an appearance in the North Coast Section (NCS) semifinals ... it was Livermore's first East Bay Athletic League Championship in 29 years ... named the 2008 NCS 'Player of the Year' and garnered all-state honors ... also tabbed the 'East Bay Athlete of the Year'... set three single-season school records at Livermore, including hitting streak (16 games), runs scored (31), and saves (15) ... as a senior he hit .418 with 20 RBIs and an on-base percentage of .465 ... on the mound Graham went 4-1 with a 1.10 ERA in 31 innings ... he was ranked as the 123rd best 2008 prospect nationally by Perfect Game Cross Checker and 200th by Baseball America ... he was also selected to play in the Area Code Games, Perfect Game Nationals, and the Bay Area World Series ... batted .357 with 12 SB as a junior in 2007 ... posted a pitching record of 4-0 in 49 IP, 65 K, nine saves and a 1.46 ERA in 2007 ... also a 2007 All-East Bay honoree as a junior ... played for coaches Dave Perotti, Marshall Collins and Tom Fletcher.
