ORINDA, Calif. – Santa Clara competed for the third time in 2019 against Saint Mary's and Humboldt State Saturday at Briones Reservoir. The Broncos finished second and third in their two races.
"We were able to make some positive changes this weekend," Santa Clara head coach matt Pinschmidt said. "We are looking to carry that momentum forward to this week's training and our next racing opportunity."
The Varsity saw Santa Clara finish with a time of 7:11.88, 15 seconds behind the Gaels.
In the 2V8, the Broncos went for a time of 7:42.83 behind both Humboldt State and Saint Mary's.
