AS A SENIOR IN 2017-18: Finished the year with career best 12-10 overall singles record and 3-3 doubles record.  FALL: Posted a 5-7 singles record in the fall and went 3-3 in doubles…Partnering with Vasileios Iliopoulos at the Tiger Invitational, the duo made it to the quarterfinals.  SPRING: 7-3 on the season including 3-1 in conference play, all coming on court six ... won seven consecutive singles matches highlighted by three consecutive match clinchers against West Coast Conference opponents BYU (April 7), No. 39 San Diego (April 8) and San Francisco (April 14) ... named WCC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on April 10 for his match clinchers against BYU and USD ... beat BYU's David Ball 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 to clinch the 4-3 win for the Broncos ... on April 8 Senior Day, was recognized in a pre-match ceremony as the lone senior on the squad and beat USD's Pratt Keerasuntonpon in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 to clinch the 4-0 victory for the Broncos ... did not compete in doubles in the spring.       

AS A JUNIOR IN 2016-17: FALL: Competed in just the Saint Mary's Invitational and went 1-1 in both singles and doubles with Max Heerinckx. SPRING: Did not compete in a match for SCU in the spring.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015-16: SINGLES: finished with a 3-13 record on the season. DOUBLES: 0-2 record on the season with partner Jeffrey Liang.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014-15: SINGLES: finished with a 3-14 record on the year ... handled Gonzaga's Vicente Varas 6-4, 6-3 on April 18 to clinch the victory for Santa Clara ... captured a match-clinching victory over Sacramento State's Ayman Abdulwahab on April 15 ... picked up his first collegiate victory after overcoming Jonah Tahilan from Holy Names 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (3) on March 24. DOUBLES: finished with a 1-7 record with partner Michael Standifer ... duo bested Xander Veys and Taylor Cramer of UNC Wilmington 6-2 on January 23 ... 0-2 on the season with partner Ashot Khacharyan. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended public French school, Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle, in London, England … high school team named semi-finalists during his first season with the squad … admitted into Advanced Apprenticeship on Sporting Excellence program between 2012-14 …qualified to play for the Middlesex county cup in the United Kingdom … semi-finalist in Regional Tournament in 2014 … Men’s Regional Open finalist in 2011 … National Top 100 member between 2010-13 …  County Top 10 member in age group … competed in Aegon British Tours, ITFs and Junior Nationals in 2013 and 2014.

PERSONAL: Enjoys playing the piano, composing music and playing video games … son of Bruno and Haru Mathieu … has a younger sister, Beni … coached tennis to children and adults at tennis club … aspires to obtain an ATP ranking ... studying in the College of Arts and Sciences.

RECORD AT SANTA CLARA:
