Head coach Polly Schulze, on first day of competition: "Overall I would say that I am very pleased. In the afternoon it goot windy and cold and started raining. The girls did a very good job staying in the game and overcoming adversity."
Samantha Trask, on first two rounds: "I'm pretty happy. Today I played a lot better than I played last year."
Trask, on the effect the weather played: "It was like night and day. In the morning the weather was gorgeous, and in the afternoon the wind totally changed directions and it started to rain."
Defending Champion Megan Stoddart, on first two rounds: "I had a good first round today, but the second wasn't my best. Tomorrow I'll need to try and be better with the putter and find a few more fairways off the tee."
