SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Former Santa Clara golfer J. Michael Bailey has continued to stay involved with the game.

Bailey, who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, was recently named to the USGA Executive Committee. He has been involved with the organization for nearly 15 years, having served on the USGA’s Regional Affairs Committee since 2002. This year, he will be a member of the joint rules of golf and rules of golf committees.

After graduating from Santa Clara, Bailey earned his law degree from BYU and now works at Parsons Behle & Latimer, a law firm with offices around the country. He has served on the board of The First Tee of Salt Lake City, as well as a number of other golf organizations.
