SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Hayden Shieh and Michiel Eyre III of Santa Clara men's golf were named to the 2015-16 All-WCC First Team. They are the first Broncos to be named to the first team since 2011.
Santa Clara joined Pepperdine and Saint Mary's as the only teams with multiple players on the list.
Shieh, last season's WCC Freshman of the Year, finished third at the WCC championship with a 7-under 209. He led the Broncos in seven tournaments with a win at the Cal Del Sol Intercollegiate. He also had four top-10 finishes to push his career total to 11.
Eyre finished tied for fifth at the WCC championship with a 4-under 212. He had three top-10 finishes with the WCC championship being his best showing of the season.
