The Santa Clara men's soccer team looks to build on Friday's thrilling home victory against Saint Mary's when it faces West Coast Conference foe Pacific at 1 p.m. Sunday in Stevens Stadium.
The Broncos (6-7; 1-1 WCC) overcame a halftime deficit to beat local rival St. Mary's 2-1 Friday night at Stevens Stadium. Edson Cardona scored the game-winner with 10 minutes left. The Broncos evened the match shortly after halftime when Satoshi "Yoshi" Chaffin set up true freshman Andres Jimenez for his first collegiate goal.
Pacific (1-11; 0-2 WCC) suffered a 3-0 road loss Friday night to San Francisco. Following a scoreless first half, the Dons netted three goals in the second, including the game-winner by David Garrett in the 51st minute.
Tickets can purchased at the gate or online.
