Junior Bianca Henninger and former Bronco Jordan Angeli '09 were two of 32 players that received calls to participate in the U.S. Senior Women's National Team training camp in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. from Feb. 3-9. The camp will serve as a precursor to 2011 Algarve Cup in Portugal and at the conclusion of the camp, an 23-player roster will be picked for the trip to Portugal.
Angeli took part in the last full-U.S. team camp, her first with the team, that began Jan. 8, but was not selected to the roster for the Four Nations Tournament in China at the end of January. This will be the first time Henninger, who starred for the United States at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in 2010, will participate in an event with the senior women's team.
The USA will play Japan (March 2), Finland (March 4) and Norway (March 7) in group play at the Algarve Cup.
