It is the first Player of the Week award for the Bronco junior.

"I am really honored to be named Co-WWPA Player of the Week," said Carlson. "I hope that I can continue this type of play for the rest of the season. "We have a young team this year and as one of the upperclassman leading this group, Tucker did a great job during our first weekend of games," said Santa Clara head coach Keith Wilbur. "Tucker is a dynamic offensive player and he can scores goals a lot of different ways. He is a force in front of the cage at the center position, and he also has a great outside shot. He came up big in every game this weekend and I am very glad that our conference recognized him with being named WWPA Player of the Week."
