KAPALUA, Maui - Sophomore Meghan Shain recorded her first hole-in-one by acing the par-3, 176-yard third hole on the Kapalua Bay Course in today's final round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic.
The Bakersfield, Calif. native finished the round with a 5-over 77 and was the Broncos' top individual finisher for the first time in 2013-14 placing in a tie for 16th with her three-day total of 225 (+9).
Shain's hole-in-one wasn't the only one of the tournament. Washington's Kelli Bowers aced the par-3, 160-yard 12th hole in Monday's first round.
The last hole-in-one registered by a Bronco came on Sep. 14, 2010 when Taylor Camany aced the par-3 13th hole at the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational.
The Broncos carded a 908 total and finished in sixth place at the 15-team event.
