Men's Basketball Schedule | Women's Basketball Schedule

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara men's basketball team will open the 2020-21 season this week, but the women's program will have to wait for its first game.

The men will serve as host to the Bronco Invitational, a three-day, round-robin tournament featuring UC Davis, Idaho State and Nicholls that kicks off Wednesday.

The women's team began a 14-day quarantine on Tuesday due to a positive COVID-19 test. Practices and games will resume at the end of the required quarantine period.

The men's team faces Idaho State during opening-day action of the tournament, UC Davis on Friday and Nicholls on Saturday.

Bronco Invitational Schedule

Remaining men's nonconference games and the women's nonleague slate will be announced when finalized.

The West Coast Conference schedule for the women begins on Dec. 28 against San Diego and for the men on Jan. 2 against Loyola Marymount.

Santa Clara County protocol does not allow spectators at sporting events so only essential personnel is currently allowed in Leavey Center.

However, Santa Clara games during the Bronco Invitational will be telecast on The WCC Network and can be heard exclusively on TuneIn.
