Apply for Santa Clara University Credit/Debit Card

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - To celebrate its 70th anniversary, University Credit Union (UCU) is proud to increase its support for the universities it serves.

The official credit union partner of Santa Clara University, UCU will make a donation to the Bronco Food Pantry for every official SCU debit or credit card issued*.

"With this past year being unlike any other, we see the need now more than ever to support those experiencing food insecurity," said University Credit Union CEO and President David Tuyo. "We know what an essential resource the Bronco Pantry is to the student population at Santa Clara University, and as a proud partner, it's an honor to be able to provide support to those students in need,"

Not only will alumni, staff and supporters of Santa Clara enjoy the great benefits that come along with a Broncos card, but they also will also be supporting students in need.

Here is how to support the initiative:
• Open a Santa Clara University credit or debit card before Sept. 30, 2021
• Make five transactions by Sept. 30, 2021
• When a consumer completes those two tasks, UCU will donate $19.51 to the Bronco Food Pantry

In 2019, Santa Clara announced UCU as its official credit union partner with exclusive products and services to serve Bronco alumni, staff and community, including the opening of an on-campus Relationship Center and ATMs in Benson Center.
