STANFORD, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's tennis team fell to 21st-ranked Stanford 7-0 this afternoon at the Taube Tennis Center. Santa Clara closes the regular season with a 12-10 record and the Cardinal improves to 13-10.
The match closed out the regular season for both squads, as it was a make-up contest after the originally-scheduled meeting on March 21st was postponed due to rain. The Broncos were only the second unranked team that the Cardinal faced this season.
SCU will now look forward to the West Coast Conference Championship, held Friday through Sunday by Pepperdine University in Malibu.
