SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's tennis program continued action at the SCU Bronco Classic today, with matches being played at both the Degheri Tennis Center and the Santa Clara Golf & Tennis Club. More than 80 participants from 13 West Region teams are participating in this weekend tournament, which continues through Sunday afternoon.

In the main draw, Broncos Ben Hidalgo and Bobby Rasmussen advanced to the semifinals with an 8-1 win over Pacific's Tyler Black and Stephan Conching. The SCU duo will take to the courts at 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Bronco senior Eric Kochanski also advanced, and will compete in the Flight B singles consolation final on Sunday morning, taking on Black at 11:30 a.m.

Players are competing in three singles and two doubles flights, and consolation brackets are also included. Main draw doubles semifinal matches will start at 8 a.m., with the championship contests following at 9:30 a.m. Championship matches in Flight A and B singles begin at 11:30 a.m. with the Flight C final following at Noon.
