The Santa Clara men's tennis 2009-10 recruiting class has earned a No. 2 ranking nationally for mid-major Division I programs by tennisrecruiting.net, it was announced Thursday. Only Northern Illinois had a higher ranked class among the mid-majors nationally. Only one other WCC team was listed in the top 25: San Francisco at No. 25.
Top 100 prep players Thomas Pham of San Diego, Calif., and Eugene Muchynski of San Jose, Calif., the No. 6 in the USTA Under-18 NorCal rankings, headline the 2009 Bronco men's tennis class.
