SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Adriana Moses was named West Coast Conference All-Academic as a sophomore and has been on the women's rowing team for the last three years.

Neuroscience with a Philosophy and Biology minor.

Mexican street tacos.

First celebrity crush?
Zac Efron, but the Zac Efron from Hairspray not High School Musical.

I've been charged by a bison.
I have a birthmark shaped like an elephant.
I visited 12 national parks during a three week trip.

Biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspirations are my amazing teammates, who inspire me to push myself to my limits and fight through anything no matter how tough or impossible it seems.

Favorite Bronco memory so far?
Winning my first race two weeks after joining the team.

Why SCU?
I chose Santa Clara because of the emphasis on social justice and education with a purpose.

Favorite class at SCU thus far?
Organic Chemistry with Dr. Fuller. Her passion for the subject made learning about organic molecules fun and interesting.

Hobbies outside of sports?
I love thrift shopping and working on craft projects.
