NOTES

  • Santa Clara finished last season 24-29 and 11-16 in the West Coast Conference.
  • As a team, the Broncos hit. .257/.349/.378 with 269 runs scored on 95 doubles, 19 triples, and 28 home runs. The team posted an ERA of 5.66 with 490 strikeouts in 464 innings.
  • Michael O'Hara led the team in batting with a .324 average. Eamon Lance hit .295 and tied for the team lead with five home runs while smacking 11 doubles and knocking in 24 with 22 runs scored. Coleman Brigman led the team with 28 runs scored, 62 hits, 16 doubles, four tripes, 34 RBIs, and tied for the team lead with five home runs while hitting .292. JonJon Berring swiped a team leading 19 bags while taking a team-high 26 walks.
  • Nick Sando Posted a 2.81 ERA in 51 1/3 innings. He fanned 79 for a 13.9 K/9. He also had a team high four saves. Cole Kitchen made 15 appearances, 14 starts, and tossed a team-leading 72 1/3 innings. He fanned a team best 101, good for a 12.6 K/9, which was 20th nationally.
  • The Broncos 2022 recruiting class was top-65 according to Perfect Game and tops in the WCC.  Twelve join the team as freshman with five transferring in.
  • With Schott Stadium currently under construction for renovations, the first two series will be played at a local off-campus site. The renovations include a completely new turn playing surface, padded fence around the stadium, a new batter's eye, all new chair back seats inside the stadium, and a remodel of the VIP Suite and press box.

FOR FANS
Gates at Mission College will be open to the public. Seating will be limited so fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Parking is $3 on Saturday and Monday. It will be free on Sunday. A campus map can be found here.
