SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's basketball junior guard Jared Brownridge was named to the 2015-16 All-WCC Preseason Men's Basketball Team on Monday. As a sophomore Brownridge was named First Team All-WCC and as a freshman was the WCC Newcomer of the year in addition to being named to the All-Freshman team and an All-WCC Honorable Mention selection.

Last season Brownridge started all 32 games and scored 20+ points seven times. His 15.9 points per game led the Broncos and was sixth in the WCC. With his 18 points vs. Pacific on Feb. 26 he became the 33rd Santa Clara player with 1,000 points in his career and the first true sophomore to accomplish the feat. He has also hit two game-winners, both vs. rival Saint Mary's.
