Kratch Earns WCC All-Academic Honors

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Nate Kratch of Santa Clara men's basketball earned a spot of the 10-member West Coast Conference All-Academic team.

The junior forward was selected for the second-straight season, the only student-athlete with multiple honors.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each league-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.

Kratch has played in all 27 games, including starts in 26. He leads the team in both rebounding (8.3 pg/fourth in the WCC) and FG percentage (53.1/sixth in the WCC), and is third in scoring (9.5 ppg).

The native of Watertown, Minnesota, graduated last summer with a 3.41 GPA in psychology. He is currently pursuing a master's in counseling psychology and maintains a 3.94 GPA.
