SARATOGA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's water polo team dropped a 10-5 decision to 16th-ranked Harvard this evening at West Valley College in Saratoga. The loss moves the Broncos to 6-12 on the season.

"Our guys played pretty well," head coach Keith Candau said. "Harvard is one of the better teams on the East Coast and we were able to do some good things against them. We had moments where we played them really tough; we just couldn't do it for a full 28 minutes."

Sophomore Nick Takahashi led the Broncos with three scores. Junior J.P. Doucette and sophomore Mark Oda added one tally apiece to round out Santa Clara's scoring. Sophomore Peter Moore posted 13 saves in goal.

The Broncos will return to action next weekend at the Convergence Tournament in Claremont. Game times and opponents will be announced next week.
