    Santa Clara Athletics hosted the second annual SCU Celebrity Golf Tournament Monday, May 4 at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club in Menlo Park, Calif. The tournament benefitted Santa Clara Athletics and the Bronco Bench Foundation. EYEBRONCO reporters Nici Gilday and Jared Brownridge took this week's edition of the Bronco Weekly Sports Wrap out to the links to catch up with the celebrity field.     The Santa Clara women’s tennis team battled to the end against Loyola Marymount in the first round of the WCC Championships, but fell by a final score of 4-3. The team finishes the season with a 7-12 overall record and 3-6 record in the WCC.

    The Santa Clara women’s tennis team was defeated 6-1 by the No. 61 Portland Pilots in its final regular season match. The Broncos end the dual season with an overall record of 7-11 and a conference record of 3-6.
  • Women's Tennis Edged By Gonzaga

    The Santa Clara women’s tennis team was defeated 5-2 by the Gonzaga Bulldogs in its penultimate match of the regular season. The Broncos are now 7-10 overall with a 3-5 WCC record.

  • Women's Tennis, Men's Cross Country Lead Department GPA In Winter 2015 Quarter

    Achieving a 3.0 or better grade point average for the 24th time in 25 quarters, the Santa Clara Bronco Athletic Department also saw eight student-athletes achieve a 4.0 GPA in the Winter of 2015. The Bronco student-athletes recorded a 3.120 GPA and boast a 3.141 cumulative GPA as well. The Broncos have scored a 3.0 or better GPA 22 straight quarters dating back to the Winter 2008 quarter.

    The Santa Clara women’s tennis team lost to Pepperdine 7-0 Saturday in Malibu. The Broncos move to 6-8 overall and 2-3 in WCC.

    The Santa Clara women’s tennis team collected another conference win in the first of its two Southern California matches of the week, eliminating the Loyola Marymount Lions 5-2. With the win, the Broncos improve to 2-2 in WCC and 6-7 overall.
