SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball fans were treated to a special pregame event.

The second annual Bronco Bash was held Thursday, Jan. 24 as alumni, staff and fans turned out to the tune of more than 250 strong at the Locatelli Event Center prior to the game against nationally-ranked Gonzaga.

The event gave an opportunity for everyone to enjoy camaraderie with fellow Bronco supporters, the Santa Clara pep band and the dance team. Attendees took photos with their game day t-shirts, played corn hole and ping pong to get hyped before the game.

The 21-and-over event included selections from local breweries Camino Brewing, Firehouse Grill & Brewery and Tied House Brewery.

"It was great to see all the Bronco fans at the event," said Renee Baumgartner, Santa Clara's director of athletics. "There was tremendous energy in the room and that carried into Leavey Center."

While the result against the Zags was not what Santa Clara fans were hoping for, the crowd of 5,094 was the largest ever at the facility.
