SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The SAAC Broncos of the month for February have been announced. Sammy Needham of softball and Jack Davidson of men's track and field brought home the honors.
Needham started her sophomore season on a tear, hitting .471 during the month of February with a .550 on-base percentage and a .735 slugging percentage. She clubbed a team-high seven doubles while adding a triple to go with seven RBIs and eight runs scored. Needham had a pair of three hit games and two two-hit games during the month.
Davidson picked up a victory in the 1,500 meters at the West Coast Invitational on Feb 23. He posted a time of 3:54.23 to top the field of 19.
