Forecast Moves Baseball Series Back One Day

Feb. 17, 2005

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Due to rain forecasted for Friday, the three-game series between the Santa Clara baseball team and Washington will be pushed back one day. The series will begin on Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium and continue on Sunday and Monday, with each game beginning at 1 p.m.

Tickets for the series and every other Bronco home game are available by calling 408-554-4660 or at the ticket booth at Buck Shaw Stadium. For more information on Bronco baseball season tickets and group packages, please click here.

The series marks the fourth time this season the Bronco's schedule has been affected by wet weather. SCU's season opener was cancelled as was its series opener at San Diego State. Earlier this week, the Bronco's contest against Sacramento State was moved from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The Broncos will enter the series with a 6-3 record after posting a 7-4 victory over Sacramento State yesterday. The Huskies enter the week 0-3 after being swept by UC Irvine in their season opening series.
