Baseball to Host Fourth Annual Golf Tournament

Sept. 10, 2004

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University baseball program will host its fourth annual Bronco Baseball Golf Tournament on Friday, October 22, 2004 at the Cinnabar Hills Golf Club in San Jose. A cocktail hour, dinner, auction and raffle will follow the 12:30 shotgun start. Registration will open at 10:00 a.m.

"This is a great time for alumni and friends of the program to get re-acquainted," said Santa Clara head coach Mark O'Brien. "Cinnabar Hills is an exceptional venue for the tournament. This event sells out every year and we can't wait to see everyone back again this year."

The price for the tournament is only $225 for registration before October 6th. After the 6th, the fee is $240. Included in the registration fee is 18 holes of golf with a cart, range balls, tee prizes, lunch, dinner and a photo of the foursome. There is also an option for dinner only, which costs $65 per person.

Bronco Baseball supporters also have the option this year of becoming a Tee Sponsor for the tournament. There are three different levels of Tee Sponsorships, the first is the Platinum Package. A $2500 sponsorship includes an entry fee for four golfers, tee sponsor sign, four fitted Santa Clara Baseball hats, recognition in the golf program, and a bottle of Silver Oak Wine.

The Gold Package costs $1000 and includes an entry fee in the tournament for two golfers, tee sponsor sign, recognition in the golf program and two fitted Santa Clara Baseball hats. The Silver Package is $150 and includes a tee sponsor sign and recognition in the golf program. For further information on tee sponsor packages, please contact Matt Mueller at 408-554-4151.
