Head coach Kerry Keating, on game: "I am happy with the effort tonight, but I am obviously disappointed with the result. I told the team that I don't feel like we lost the game tonight, but we got beat. We gave a great effort and some guys really stepped up. We gave ourselves a chance at the end and it just didn't happen for us tonight."
Keating, on team coming back: "It is encouraging for us the way the team fought back. We were down 11 with under four minutes to play and we got it back to a one possession game. This is the type of game that can help build our program."
Keating, on play of Brody Angley: "Brody came in banged up and he had a scratched eye from the Eastern Washington game and he put out a great effort. He battles every game and tonight was no different. We are going to keep asking him to make plays for us and he did that tonight. I am proud of the way that he fought back and helped keep the team composed at the end of the game."
Keating, on players stepping up: "We are trying to find guys that will step up in different games. Against Utah, Okey (Mbanugo) did that and tonight Gunner (Jonathan Gunderson) did a good job of hitting his shots and playing within himself."
