Kerry Keating, on game: "I am proud of the team for coming back after being down five with under a minute to go and getting the win. We showed some toughness and resilience in coming back. The team just has to learn to play like that all the time not just when they are down. It was a tough game for us because of the style that they play, but we are happy to get the win."
Keating, on Brody Angley: "The best thing about Brody's game tonight was no turnovers. That is the first stat I look at for a point guard and he did a great job tonight of not turning it over. The shot that he hit to tie the game just shows how tough he is and how willing he is to make the big play."
Senior Brody Angley, on win: "We had two rough road games before tonight and it was nice to get a win back at home. We had to correct a lot of mistakes from those games. Denver made it tough on us with the way they play. Defensively, we did a good job of stopping them from getting to the basket."
Angley, on tying three-pointer: "The clock was running down and somebody needed to make a play. I just felt like I needed to make the play there."
Angley, on Cable Car Classic: "Art Santo Domingo does a great job with this tournament every year. There is a lot of history with this tournament so we want to try and win another championship for Santa Clara."
Junior John Bryant, on Cable Car Classic: "This tournament is always fun and you want to try and win a championship in the middle of the season. We want to win it every year and we have a great chance Saturday night to do that."
Bryant, on Angley's shot: "Brody is definitely the guy we want taking the big shots. He is a senior and he has been through it before. That was a shot we needed and hopefully we can keep playing well and give him a great senior season."
