No. 6 Women's Soccer Begins Final Road Trip at San Diego Thursday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Heading on the road for the final time in the regular season, No. 6 Santa Clara women's soccer travels to San Diego for a Thursday match at 7 p.m.

The Broncos took care of business at home last week, topping Portland 3-2 in overtime Friday and Gonzaga 1-0 Sunday.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 18-8 all-time against San Diego with the first meeting coming in 1992. Last year the Broncos beat the Toreros 3-0 at Stevens Stadium.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (14-2-1, 5-1 WCC) has scored 38 goals on the year, second in the conference, and are in the top-25 nationally with 2.24 goals per game. The Broncos have put 131 of their 288 shots on frame this season.

THE TOREROS
San Diego (7-7-1, 3-3 WCC) has won three in a row, all on the road, and has outscored its opponents 27-23 despite being outshot 219-186.

Milan Moses is second in the conference with 12 goals and has three assists for 27 points. Summer Mason has scored five goals and leads the Toreros with five assists. Seven others have scored at least one goal each.

Amber Michel has allowed 22 goals for a 1.44 GAA and has made 78 saves for a .780 save percentage. She has three shutouts this season.
