SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The No. 5 Santa Clara women's soccer seniors made their presence felt on Senior Day in the Broncos 7-0 win over Pacific Saturday afternoon to close out the regular season.

Santa Clara (16-3-1, 7-2 WCC) absolutely dominated the Tigers (2-16, 0-9 WCC), attempting 33 shots and putting 19 on goal while drawing 10 corner kicks to none allowed.

For the second time this year, senior Maria Sanchez tied a program record with four assists. She also accomplished the feat on Aug. 20 against Cal. In net, senior Melissa Lowder got her seventh shutout of the year while making four saves.

Duffy Moyer, the final senior, played a career-high 58 minutes as well.

Santa Clara also got a pair of goals from Natalie Kennedy, the first two of the season for her. She scored the first of the match in the 18th minute and made it 4-0 in the 39th.

Kelsey Turnbow tied Maddy Gonzalez briefly for the team-lead in goals in the 24th but Gonzalez scored her eighth of the year in the 31st. Julie Doyle added one more in the 56th and an own goal capped off the scoring.
