SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's water polo and three players honored by the Golden Coast Conference on Tuesday. Seniors Elizabeth Anderson and Elle Surber were named Second Team All-GCC and Hannah Buck was named GCC All-Freshman.
Anderson is second on the team with 31 goals scored and third with 16 steals. She leads the Broncos with 45 kick-outs drawn and has 14 of the teams 17 5M drawn. She is also No. 2 all-time in Santa Clara history with 203 earned ejections, No. 5 with 140 goals, and No. 9 with 61 assists and 86 steals.
Surber leads Santa Clara with 37 goals scored and 24 steals. She is second with 24 steals and 38 kick-outs drawn. She is Santa Clara's all-time leader with 176 goals. She is also second all-time with 132 steals, fourth with 100 assists, and sixth with 111 earned ejections.
Buck has started all 24 games this season and scored 26 goals for third on the team. She is also third with 32 kick-outs drawn and has added six assists and eight steals.
Santa Clara takes on LMU on Friday at 3 p.m. in the GCC championship in San Diego.
