SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara will serve as the host institution for the 2016 Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Championship, which kicks off Friday at Sullivan Aquatic Center.
The Broncos (11-14, 2-4) are seeded No. 5 in the three-day tournament and will play No. 4 Cal Baptist at 2 p.m. Friday.
UC Davis (21-4) is the top seed after posting a perfect 6-0 conference mark this season and earned a first-round bye in the seven-team field.
No. 2 seed UC San Diego (13-7, 5-1) plays seventh-seeded No. 7 Fresno Pacific (9-18, 0—6) in the tournament's first game at 10:30 a.m. Friday, followed by No. 3 Loyola Marymount (11-15, 4-2) facing No. 6 Air Force (9-15, 1-5) at 12:15 p.m.
There will be three games on Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. and three on Sunday, also starting at 9:30 a.m. The championship game is set for 1 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets: Tickets are $10 per day; $5 for seniors, children under 12 and students. Sullivan Aquatic Center, as well as its ticket office, is open one hour prior to the start of first game each day. Only cash is accepted at Sullivan Aquatic Center.
Parking: Sullivan Aquatic Center is located adjacent to Leavey Center (corner of El Camino Real and Accolti Way). Due to campus events, parking will be limited Friday. The Leavey Center lot will be CLOSED Friday. Fans are encouraged to park in the Guadalupe lot, which is located on the opposite side of El Camino Real. The main parking structure, located on Palm Drive through the campus entrance (500 El Camino Real), is another option. Parking may also be available on El Camino Real, though restricted in stretches. For games on Saturday and Sunday, the Leavey Center lot will be available and free of charge. During the weekend, campus parking facilities are free (except for permit required locations).
