SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis hosts Fresno State on Saturday in the final tune-up before getting into the heart of West Coast Conference action next week. First serve is at 2 p.m. from the Degheri Tennis Center.
Due to current State of California guidelines, spectators will not be permitted inside Degheri Tennis Center. In addition, only essential personnel is allowed on campus. The general public is allowed only to 'pass through' campus, such as on a walk, but no lingering, gathering, lounging, etc. is permitted.
The Broncos (3-3) are coming off a 6-1 victory over New Mexico on Wednesday, kick starting a stretch of four-straight home matches. Dominic Barretto, Arthur Neuhaus and Guillaume Dalmasso each earned a singles as well as a doubles win against the Lobos. For Barretto, a graduate transfer from Cal, it was his first singles win as a Bronco.
Dalmasso continues to impress during his freshman campaign improving to a team-best 5-1 record in singles action. Neuhaus along with Mann Shah are 4-2 on the year with Shah winning the last two matches atop the singles lineup.
Fresno State (10-2) comes into the match with an eight-match winning streak. Saturday's match will mark the fifth-straight WCC opponent the Bulldogs will be facing.
The Bulldogs are 2-2 away from home including 1-2 in true road contests.
Current Bronco assistant coach Jeremy Moser is a 2019 graduate of Fresno State.
