SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Pepperdine blanked Santa Clara men's tennis 7-0 in their West Coast Conference opener on Friday afternoon.

After securing the doubles point, Pepperdine (7-4, 1-0) reeled off three consecutive straight-set wins and clinched the match on court four with Tim Zeitvogel defeating Arthur Neuhaus 6-4, 6-4.

Santa Clara (3-5, 0-2) pushed the matches on courts one, two and five to the full three sets but lost them all.

Both Guillaume Dalmasso and Vasileios Iliopoulos won the opening set on courts two and five but lost the last two sets. Daniel De Jonge won 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 over Dalmasso while Robert Shelton took down Iliopoulos 4-6, 6-0, 6-3.

The Broncos will host LMU on Saturday.  First serve is at 10 a.m.  Due to state of California guidelines, spectators will not be permitted in the facility.
