SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Zdenek Derkas and Henrique Osorio had wins in both singles and doubles to help Fresno State outlast Santa Clara men's tennis, 5-2, on Saturday.

Osorio's 6-7(6), 6-3, 6-3 victory over Santiago Hinojosa on court No. 6 clinched the match for the Bulldogs (11-2) who won their ninth straight.

That match ended just after Derkas' 7-5, 6-4 win at the No. 1 position against Mann Shah had given Fresno State a 3-2 lead.

Santa Clara (3-4) had singles victories from Dominic Barretto and Arthur Neuhaus, both in straight sets.

On the court three, Barretto knocked off Angus Bradshaw 6-2, 6-3. Neuhaus downed Aleksandr Myagkov 6-4, 6-1, at No. 4 singles.

Bradshaw and Myagkov combined to clinch the doubles point for Fresno State with a 6-3 win on court two against Barretto and Guillaume Dalmasso

Derkas and Osorio teamed up for a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles over Shah and Nick Cmager.

The Broncos head back to West Coast Conference play on Friday when Pepperdine visits Degheri Tennis Center. Due to state of California guidelines, spectators will be be permitted in the facility.
